Government College for Girls, Cheeka is situated at the outskirt of the town on Pehowa road in the state of Haryana, India.  Established in 2018, it is affiliated to Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra. This is the most demanded College in this area as earlier there was no any other Girls College. After observing the difficulties faced by the girls living in the town and nearby villages, the government decided to open the College here. It is a proud matter for the College that on its opening, more than 100 girls were able to resume their studies after passing their 10+2 class. Almost 15 married girls of this area took advantage and got admission in higher studies here. More than 20 fatherless or parentless girls got golden chances to go ahead in their studies. So, this is a leading College that will always endeavour in upliftment and development of the female folk of this town.  

 

This college proves to be a blessing to the students with its spacious building, free bus pass services, lush green gardens, a basket ball play ground, a resourceful library and many other facilities. The College offers various undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, Tourism management and Mass Communication. The College provides placement opportunities too. The professional course of BTM provides opportunities for the students to establish their career in abroad. The ultimate goal of the College is to expose its students the emerging areas of knowledge, give them access to higher education and women empowerment.
